French driver Théo Pourchaire has been confirmed to race in the Japanese Super Formula next season with Team Impul, following a successful test earlier this month.

Well, it’s official and not at all shocking: Théo Pourchaire is set to race in the Japanese Super Formula next season. After acing a test earlier this month, Team Impul has snagged the Frenchman. Pourchaire, Sauber’s test and reserve driver, is packing his bags for Japan, following the tracks of Pierre Gasly and Liam Lawson, to name a few.

The racing class spilled the beans this Tuesday. Pourchaire is now part of their team.

Pourchaire is buzzing about this new chapter. He took to social media, sharing his excitement.
