This week Haas F1 gears up for their third home race. Drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg will use a different Haas car specification. Already, the team has seen a less than successful season in 2023, with only one upgrade package planned, coming in Austin. Team propiertor says “that the package was not a step backwards, driver Hulkenberg prefers the older specification.” The two drivers have decided to use different car specs for the race, and team manager Steiner has expressed the decision as there being 2 races left and “nothing to lose”. Haas aims to make the drivers as comfortable as possible in the cars, regarding their preferance as the main reason to adjust the cars.
