Final Starting Grid for Austria Sprint Race Announced

Max Verstappen will lead the sprint race in Austria from pole position. He was the quickest in sprint qualifying and aims to win the shorter race.

Starting beside Verstappen is his buddy and competitor, Lando Norris. Norris came close to beating him but now has another chance during the race. Right behind them on the second row are Oscar Piastri and George Russell, who are ready to seize any opportunity if things go wrong for the front runners.

Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc had a tough time during sprint qualifying. Perez got stuck behind Esteban Ocon in SQ3, ending up seventh. Leclerc didn’t even set a time and will start from P10.

Alexander Albon‘s car needed some parts replaced before the sprint race. Since this happened while cars were in Parc Ferme, Albon must start from the pit lane.
