Marko’s Insights on the Verstappen Investigation

Helmut Marko thinks Max Verstappen will keep his pole position. The stewards are checking if he drove too slowly in the Red Bull Ring pit lane during qualifying.

“This is such a bureaucratic investigation. I cannot imagine that it has any consequences,” said Marko, according to German Motorsport-Magazin. Verstappen himself says he did nothing wrong, adding, “everyone there is doing the same thing.”

Red Bull Surprise

Verstappen led every session this weekend in Austria, so getting pole position wasn’t shocking. But what was surprising was his four-tenths gap to Lando Norris in second place.

“We are also surprised [about that], but the whole team did an excellent job. Four tenths at this circuit is incredible. This was a great display of power!” exclaimed the 81-year-old adviser to the Austrian team with joy!

Fans might think this news shows just how strong Red Bull is right now.

Sometimes, things happen that we don’t expect, like a big gap between first and second place in racing.

Do you think Verstappen will keep his pole position?
