Max Verstappen is upset about the situation at Red Bull Racing.

Jos Verstappen and Christian Horner are having a disagreement, and Max thinks it could have been prevented.

Verstappen Talks About Red Bull Tension

“Well, I mean, naturally, of course, it’s not nice. I think not for myself, not for my dad, not for Christian, not for the team. Of course, you don’t want these things to happen. I think my dad has been quite clear about the reason behind it. And of course, I can understand his opinion on that,” Max said after the sprint race.

“He gets asked to drive the car and finds out that he’s not wanted to drive the car. Well, my dad actually doesn’t care about driving the car, but he got asked and said, ‘Please, do it for the fans, Dutch fans, blah blah blah. Red Bull; we have a great relationship with them; home track.’ So I understand. On the other hand I’m here to focus on performance. So I want a good relationship with everyone. But of course this scenario could have been avoided,” Max added.

Jos was supposed to take part in the Legends Parade but found out Christian was trying to stop him from driving. When Jos learned this he decided not to participate anymore. Christian denied vetoing it but admitted he wasn’t in favor of it.

Fans might be wondering why there’s so much drama over one event .

This whole thing seems like a big mess that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
