Toto Wolff has fired back at Christian Horner’s comments.
“I didn’t hear that at all,” Toto Wolff told Sky Sports Germany when asked about Horner’s statements. “That’s just stupid. He is talking nonsense.” When asked if he would consider hiring Jos Verstappen, Wolff joked, “That’s not even that bad.”
The Battle Between Horner and Wolff
Earlier on Friday, Christian Horner made some remarks about Max Verstappen staying with Red Bull Racing until 2025. He mentioned it was the most normal thing since Max had a contract until 2028. According to him, Wolff should look elsewhere.
During a press conference, Horner faced questions about Jos Verstappen refusing to participate in the Legends Parade. Jos believed Horner wanted to stop him from joining. These questions made Horner cynical, leading him to say: “Why Toto? I think it’s purely a tactic of distraction. If he does want a Verstappen for next year then I guess Jos is potentially available.”
